About Creative Pros Connect

What is Creative Pros Connect?

Creative Pros Connect (CPC) is a job board and collaboration platform for weddings and events. Clients, Creative Pros, and Venues post real opportunities, aligned professionals express interest, and anyone can build a preferred network of vendors they trust.

How is CPC different from a vendor directory?

A directory is built for browsing and sending inquiries. CPC starts with the opportunity: you share what you need, and aligned professionals come to you. Preferred networks add a curated layer of people you trust.

Who is CPC for?

Clients (couples, families, individuals, businesses), Creative Pros (photographers, videographers, hair and makeup artists, DJs, florists, planners, caterers, officiants, and more), and Venues.

Is CPC available outside the U.S.?

Not currently. CPC is available in the U.S., and members must be 18 or older.

How much does it cost?

Joining is free, and so is posting an opportunity. Creative Pros need a membership to express interest in opportunities. See Pricing & Plans for current options. Or, during Beta, get invited by the founder, an existing pro, or a venue to enjoy a complimentary one-year membership.

For Clients

How do I get started?

Create a free account and post your event needs: event type, date, location, the kind of professional you want, your budget, and any inspiration. Aligned Creative Pros can then express interest.

What happens after I post?

You're notified when a pro expresses interest. From your dashboard you can review their profile, portfolio, and specialties before deciding who's a fit.

What does Connect mean?

Connect tells a pro you'd like to move forward. It doesn't hire anyone or create a contract, and the conversation from there is yours to have directly.

Does CPC handle contracts or payments?

No. CPC connects people. Agreements and payments are made directly between you and the professional.

How do I know a pro is the right fit?

Review their profile and portfolio, ask for references, and confirm availability and terms in writing before booking. CPC doesn't run background checks or guarantee any professional's work.

For Creative Pros

How do I find opportunities?

Browse Job Listings by specialty and location, then express interest. You'll need a complete profile and an active membership to apply.

Can I post opportunities too?

Yes. Pros can post jobs, such as looking for a second shooter, and group related jobs under an event.

Is there a free membership during Beta?

During Beta, Creative Pros who join through an invitation receive a free year. Invitations come from the founder, a pro who added you to their preferred network, or a venue or planner. Beta terms may change.

Preferred Networks and Venue Alliance

What is a preferred network?

A curated list of professionals you trust. You can limit an opportunity to your preferred vendors, so your first look goes to people you already know.

What is the Venue Alliance Program?

It lets venues, and planning and coordination professionals, build a preferred network and invite clients to a private page showing it. They can also send a client a curated list of interested pros for an event.

How do I invite someone to my network?

Open My Preferred Network in your account, then add an existing member or invite someone by email, one at a time or in bulk. If they already have an account, they log in to accept.

Accounts and Privacy

Who can see my profile?

Creative Pro profiles are public. Venue pages are private and visible only to clients that venue invites.

Can I close my account?

Yes. Go to Account > Membership > Close My Account. We'll ask why you're leaving, then deactivate (not delete) your account. Open jobs and events close, and you can reactivate by logging back in.
